Obituary of Joyce I. Lewis

Spencer, TN: Mrs. Joyce I. Lewis, 74, went to be with her savior Saturday August 11, 2018. Mrs. Lewis passed away at River Park Hospital from an extended illness. A Bledsoe County native and a resident of Spencer she was a retired seamstress, loving Mother and Grandmother. She was a member of East Sparta Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her parents Alvie Floyd Hale and Ruth Campbell Hale, loving husband Morris Lewis, brother Douglas Hale and sister Margie Bedwell.

Mrs. Lewis is survived by two Sons and their families:

Michael (Lisa) Angel of Fremont, IA, child- Brittany (Howard) Elam and Xakaiya.

Kenneth (Twila) Angel of Ada, OK, children- Caleb (Leilani) Angel and Roman, Trevor (Kaci) Angel and Kassidy, Payton and Rylee, Ashlyn (Jordon) Nickell and Kase and Knox.

Two Daughters and families:

 Patricia (Mike) Lewis McCombs of Arvada, CO, children Tiffany McCombs and Jordon, Tailor and Payton, Tanya Nettrour and Zoe, Cora and Briana McCombs.

Kay (Layton) Smith and Morgan of Spencer, TN

And a Sister Faye Cunningham of Spencer, TN.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00AM Wednesday August 15, 2018 in the Chapel of Layne Funeral Home in Spencer with Rev. Kenneth Angel and Rev. Michael Angel officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday August 14, 2018 from 10:00AM to 8:00PM.  A private burial service will be held later.  In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to assist with funeral cost.
