Obituary of Barbara Ann Brock

Spencer, TN-Barbara Ann Brock, age 78, passed from this life Friday June 11, 2021, from an extended illness, at her home surrounded by her family. Barbara was born in South Bend, Indiana on November 27, 1942, to the late Robert and Stella Yates Cooper. She was a retired manager in the hotel industry and a member of Spencer Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

In addition to her parents Barbara was preceded in death by her loving husband; Charles E. “Sonny” Brock, daughters; Melissa O’Connor and Lucy Brock.

She is survived by sons; Arthur O’Connor Jr., Arthur O’Connor III and Tim (Sara) Brock, daughter; Christina Kerr, brothers; Robert, Fred, John and Jim Cooper, sisters; Lucy (Samuel) Cook, grandchildren; Alton, Stephanie, Benjamin, Amanda, Eric, Christina, Jessica, and Charlene. Eighteen great-grandchildren and a large extended family.

A Memorial Dinner will be held Tuesday June 15, 2021, at 2:00pm at Spencer Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
