Obituary of Melissa Ann Dean

PINSON, TN - Ms. Melissa Ann Dean, 52, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2021 at her home in Pinson, TN after a battle with cancer. She was born in Jackson, TN on October 9, 1968.

 

She was preceded in death by her father, J.D. Jordan; grandmother, Evelyn Harrison.

 

She is survived by her son, Dalton (Tiffany) Seratt, Beersheba Springs, TN; mother, Diane Jordan, Pinson, TN; brother David (Vicky) Dean, Savannah, TN; sister, Julie (Jim) Vest, Enville, TN; nieces, Jordan (Don), Megan (Mark), Kendyl (Adam), Tori (Alex) and Aubrey; nephew, Austin.

 

For several years Melissa's wishes were for there to be no funeral and no memorial service. She made it crystal clear to the entire family that she wanted to be cremated and have her ashes spread in her most favorite place in the world, Cades Cove!
