Obituary of Erline Willoughby Clifford

Spencer, TN- Mrs. Erline Willoughby Clifford, age 100, passed away peacefully Sunday August 15, 2021 at Life Care of Sparta.  She was born on August 16, 1920 in San Angelo, TX to the late J. D. and Emma Cole Willoughby. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She was an avid bible study teacher and faithful prayer warrior.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by first husband; Walter Edgar Haver Sr. and second husband; William Ivan Clifford, sons; Walter Edgar Haver Jr. and William Ivan Clifford II, brother; R. B. Willoughby, sisters; Jaycil Winwright, Verla Zieman and Sue McMahon.

Mrs. Clifford is survived by her loving family, daughters; Margaret Lee Plemons, Shirley Sims and Doris (Dempsey) Rouse, sister; Belle Strauss. Ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and thirteen great-great-grandchildren also survive.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Her ashes will be interred at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville, AL.
