Spencer, TN-Mr. Leonard Dale Boyd, age 60, a Van Buren County native passed away Sunday September 12, 2021.  Dale was born in Spencer on August 5, 1961 to the late Leonard Clifton and Norma Rhea Lee Boyd. He was a machinist by trade and worked for Tenn-Smith for many years. Dale enjoyed the outdoors, was an avid fishman and loved the country life.

Dale is survived by his loving children and family; son; Jon (Courtney) Boyd of Rock Island, daughter; Beth Norris of Rock Island, brother; Joe (Ann) Boyd of Spencer and grandchildren; Layla Boyd, Hunter Norris, and Conner Boyd. A large extended family also survives.

Funeral services will be held Thursday September 16, 2021 at 2:00pm in the Layne Chapel with Bro, Wayne Sullivan officiating.  Burial will follow in the Shockley Cemetery. Visitation times are Wednesday 3:00pm to 9:00pm and Thursday 9:00am till time of service at 2:00pm.
