Obituary of Leslie Harold King

  Beersheba Springs, Tennessee – Mr. Leslie Harold King, 78, passed away Saturday November 13, 2021, at his home. He was born in Beersheba Springs, Tennessee on August 30, 1943, to Richard King and Lucille Knight King who preceded him in death along with his sisters, Selma Braseel and Reba Hill; brothers, Deon and Roy King; grandson, Shane Tate.

He attended the Church of God until his health declined. He was a timber worker, truck driver and had worked at a sawmill before retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Hazel Green King; son, Brent (Devonya) King; daughters, Amanda Killian (Gary Borne), Telsa (Wesley) Smartt and Vicki (Jason) Fincher; brother, Jerry (Mary) King; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday at the Hunerwadel Cemetery with Ministers Bobby Winton and Jonathon Graham officiating.

Visitation: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM Monday at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tennessee.
