Obituary of Buford Larry McWain

Chattanooga, Tennessee – Mr. Buford Larry McWain, 74, passed away Thursday December 9, 2021 at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee from complications from Covid-19.  He was born in Palmer, Tennessee on December 7, 1947 to Buford McWain and Myrtle Marie Cagle McWain who preceded him in death along with his wife, Nadine Anderson McWain; brothers, Jimmy and Ricky McWain.

 

He was a retired Iron Worker and had worked at Wheeland Foundry.

 

He is survived by his sons, Tracy (Mary Ann) McWain, Chattanooga, Brian McWain, Hixson and Jason (Stephanie) McWain, Red Bank; granddaughter, Chloe McWain; several nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in the Palmer Cemetery.

 

Visitation: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM Saturday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee.
