Spencer, TN-Edna Ruth Frady, age 70, passed from this life Saturday February 19, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  Ruth was born on January 10, 1952 to the late Elbert and Betty Presley Johnson.  Ruth worked in the local shirt factories, in Spencer, for many years and was a member of Spencer Church of God.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by, father of her children; Jackie Frady, brothers; Elwood Hale, E.J., Eugene, Freddie, Larry, W.L., and Clifford Johnson, sisters; Joene Hale Emerton, Selma Hale Ford, June Dixson, and Alice Pendergrass.

Ruth is survived by her loving family, son; Tobbie (Kathy White) Frady Sr., daughter; Melissa (Joe) Moore, brother; Dale Johnson, sisters; Margaret Price, Betty Jo Music, Margie Dukes and Phoebe Brymer. Grandchildren; Joseph (Katelyn) Moore IV, Chanslen Moore, Cassidy Frady and Tobbie Frady Jr., great-grandchildren; Joseph Moore V, Memphis Smith and Kodi'Anna Rose Turner.

Funeral services will be held Thursday February 24, 2022 at 2:00pm in the Layne Chapel with Bro. Jason Graham officiating. Burial will follow in the Spencer Town Cemetery. Visitation times are, Wednesday 5:00pm-9:00pm and Thursday 10:00am till time of service at 2:00pm.
