Obituary of Kendra Lynette Birdwell

Palmer, Tennessee – Miss Kendra Birdwell, 53, passed away Sunday April 17, 2022, at the Parkridge East Hospital in Chattanooga with her family at her bedside. 

She was born in Dunlap, Tennessee on August 2, 1968.  She attended the East Valley Baptist Church in Dunlap, Tennessee and was a long-time client of Exceptional Enterprises in Coalmont, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her father, Walter David Birdwell and an infant sister, Tammy Birdwell; grandparents, Fred and Essie Gravitt, Leonard and Willette Birdwell.

She is survived by her mother Audrey Gravitt Birdwell and her brother, Mike (Tonya) Birdwell; nephews, Terrance, Trevor John, Trey Doll and Baby Tavin; special friend, Sherry McGowan and Special friend who she loved as a sister, Pattie Reel; a host of loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Blake Patterson officiating with burial to follow in the Fall Creek Cemetery.

Visitation: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM Tuesday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee.
