Altamont, Tennessee – Mr. Keith Douglas Barrett, 74, passed away Sunday June 5, 2022, at his home. He was born on February 15, 1948.

He worked with Barrett Brothers Logging before his health declined and was a US Army veteran. He attended the Little Creek Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ethridge and Mildred Rymer Barrett; wife, Mae Myers Barrett; son, Brad Allen Barrett; brother, Jimmy Barrett; sister, Faye Barrett Meeks; grandson, Cord Montana Barrett

He is survived by his sons, Jeffery Douglas (Kathy) Barrett and Dustin Barrett; brothers, Charlie (Karlene) Barrett and Dal (Karon) Barrett; sister, Bobbie Barrett; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Tuesday at the AirView Cemetery with Minister Dal Barrett officiating with Military Honors.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Tuesday at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tennessee
