Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee – Mrs. Carmelia Annetta Gamble, 77, passed away Friday October 7, 2022, at the home of her daughter in Whitwell, Tennessee.   She was born in Palmer, Tennessee on December 5, 1944, to James W. and Eddie Mae Caldwell McCullough who preceded her in death along with her grandparents, Albert and Della McCullough, Frank and Carrie Caldwell; son-in-law, Darrell Givens.

She is survived by her daughter, Buncie Givens; sister, Jackie (Buford) Jones; brothers, James (Minnie) McCullough and Danny (Betty) McCullough; grandsons, Nicholas (Kelly) Green and Dirk (Taylor) Green; great grandchildren, Scarlett and Cameron Green; loving nieces and nephews.

A special thanks to Darlene Givens and Janie Reeves for the love and care shown to Carmelia.

A graveside funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday at the Fall Creek Cemetery with Minister Clayton Jones officiating.

There will be no visitation at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee
