Altamont, Tennessee – Mrs. Belinda Ann “Bennie” Swaney Patrick, 55, passed away Tuesday November 22, 2022 with her husband at her bedside at the Saint Thomas Mid Town Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee of a heart attack after fighting through 6 extended back surgeries.

 She was born at Tinker Airforce Base in Oklahoma City, OK on July 29, 1967 to Harold Monroe Swaney and Anna Mae Garland Swaney.

Belinda had been a beautician before getting her CDL License and started driving a truck before retiring to be a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold M. Swaney; and her brother, Richard Swaney.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Randy Wayne Patrick; mother, Anna Mae Swaney, Maryville, TN; aunts, Katherine Mahan, Corine Atchley and Eloise Dailey of Maryville, and Barbara Vogel of Zephyrhills, FL; uncles, Paul Garland, Maryville and Tommy Joe Swaney, Lincoln, AL;  nieces Misty (Will) Keith and Ginger (Jessie) Dixon; goddaughter, Lindie Campbell; other extended family and friends.

Graveside funeral services will be 12:00 NOON Friday at the Spencer Town Cemetery, Spencer, Tennessee with Minister Darrell Nance officiating.

Visitation: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM Thursday at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tennessee.
