Obituary of Cynthia Seagroves

Coalmont, Tennessee – Mrs. Cynthia “Cindy” Smith Seagroves, 66, passed away Tuesday January 3, 2023, at the Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.  She was born in Cumberland Heights, Tennessee on November 25, 1956, to Vernon Smith and Lydia J. “Judy” Jones Tate who preceded her in death along with her sister, Minnie Smith; nephew, John Michael Childers.

She is survived by husband, Dean Seagroves; son, Michael (Jennifer) Seagroves; daughter, Angel (Shay) Turner; sister, Judy Ann Fults; grandchildren, Emmalee Seagroves, Justus Turner, Trey Turner, Ella Seagroves and Eli Seagroves; niece, Deanna Fults; grandniece, Lila Fults.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers, Mike Rigsby and Bobby Winton officiating.

Burial will be private in the Seagroves Cemetery, Coalmont, Tennessee.

Visitation: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM Thursday at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tennessee.
