Obituary of Grady Willard Northcutt

Altamont, Tennessee – Mr. Grady Willard Northcutt, 85, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday January 10, 2023, while he was rabbit hunting.  He was born in Altamont, Tennessee on April 26, 1937, to Clyde Northcutt and Cleo Myers Northcutt who preceded him in death along with his wife, Christine Campbell Northcutt; sisters, Clydia Grace Jordan, Clara Fults and Martha Campbell; brothers, Parker Northcutt, Dewey, Stanley, Elzie, Elmer and Earl Campbell; grandson, Jonathan Northcutt.

He was retired from Carrier Corporation and was a member of the Church of Jesus of Christ of Latter-Day Saints Altamont Ward. 

He is survived by his daughters, Angie (Carlton) Burnett, Tanya Rymer, Lynn Northcutt and Arlissa Campbell; sister, Dorothy Campbell; grandchildren, Mandy (Bradley) Stone, Nathan (Sherry) Burnett, Zach, Devon and Trevor Rymer, Kaitlyn (Cole) Redmon; Ashley Myers, Abigal Campbell; great grandchildren, Ethan, Alora, Gretchen, Grady, Emily, Ashton, Bryson, Riley, Malory, Kyle, Elizabeth and Garrett; a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at Altamont with Bishop, Jason Blake officiating with burial to follow in the Fults Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM Wednesday at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tennessee.
