Andy...my desk neighbor who became a dear friend. One of the kindest persons I'd ever met. Always positive, always smiling, always making all around you smile. That we miss you, my friend, is an understatement.
If you knew Andy, you also knew his family was his world. Amy, Cameron, Callie, Mary...my thoughts and prayers are with you and may God fill your hearts with love and peace that surpasses all understanding. Heaven gained another angel. Until we see you again, my friend.

Andy was a wonderful person. Such a sweet little boy who turned into a great man. I have never heard anyone speak an ill word about Andy; that speaks volumes of his kindness and character toward everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Mary Miles, I have known you since we attended Miss Thirza Taylor's pre-first grade class. My heart is broken for you and your sweet family. Andy was so loved by them all. You and Marion raised an exceptional son. I join the many who are keeping you and yours in our prayers.
Love you,
Denise Leach

I had worked directly and indirectly with Andy for a very long time at Unum. There is not a person at Unum that could ever say a negative thing about Andy. I knew him to be a strong Christian man who was very gentle and kind. He had a personality and smile that made tough days a little easier. For his family, I will offer this: "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." Matt 5:4 and Psalm 34:18- "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

Q: What will you never forget about Andrew?
A: Oh the Unum days when we were both in our 20s and they put you and I on the Enterprise Rent A Car account. One of the hardest ones. But we did it brother. I remember helping you plan your Disney trip when your kids were young. It was always a pleasure working together. Rest In Peace Bro!!!

When I visited my Aunt ( his grandmother) Andy was usually there. When I saw Andy get on the floor to paint his aging Gran Gran's toe nails, I knew then he was going to be an incredible human being. I live away, but have followed Andy's life through FB. I will miss Andy and my heart is with his beautiful family. May God hold your family close and give you a peace that surpasses all understanding. Love to all.

Andy was one of my best childhood friends. We ran that alley back and forth for years and probably wore poor GranGran out most days. He was fun and creative and true friend. We had so many stories and shared so much in those years (including the chicken pox) that his death feels like a part of my childhood has been ripped away. Those years were idyllic and precious and I hold each one of those memories even closer now.
My heart is broken for Amy, Cameron, Callie, Mary Miles, and all of his family, friends, and co-workers. He was one of the best of our generation and his absence from our community and our lives leaves a hole that can never be filled.

I met Andy at work many years ago. I remember how happy he was when he got married and later on how very happy he was when he had each of his children.
He was always such a sweetheart at work, very helpful very friendly, and would do whatever was necessary to help someone.
He and his family have been on my mind, and in my prayers all weekend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
My prayers and condolences go out to his wife, his children, and his entire family and friends. It is so hard to believe that he is gone.

Q: How would you describe Andrew to someone who had never met them?
A: Andy was the sweetest, kindest person you'd ever meet. He never met a stranger and always had a smile on his face. I don't ever remember a time that he didn't have a smile on his face. We were in band together and have lots of good memories of him. Andy, to me, if you had never met him, was an angel on Earth in all ways. He was truly a Godly person. He came from a good family and it showed. I still can't believe you're gone. I love you and Amy..You two were a great match for each other because y'all both are so much alike, sweet and friendly to all. I can only imagine the hurt your mom is going through and the rest of the family. Prayers for each of you during this hard time. I love y'all so much!!
Love always,

I met Andy at work and he was one of the nicest men I have ever met. He was kind and had the best sense of humor. He would watch my plants when ever I went home to Maine and they were always better when I returned. Therefore, I went frequently. I pray for his family who he loved dearly.
