Obituary of Dee Anne Meece

Spencer, TN-Dee Anne Meece, age 46, passed away Sunday May 7, 2023 at her home from an extended illness.  Dee was born on August 5, 1976 in Red Deer, Alberta Canada to the late Joseph Hazen and Donna Lee Gilbert who survives.  A resident of Cookeville, TN, Dee was a Food Service Supervisor with Tennessee Tech University, loved working in her garden, enjoyed thunderstorms and was a loving mother who made her home a loving place.

Dee is survived by, significant other; Jonathan Wurm of Cookeville, sons; George and William Meece, daughter; Nikki Jordon, brother; Colton Cheek and her mother; Donna Lee Gilbert. A large extended family also survives.

Dee choose to be cremated. A celebration of life will be held Saturday June 3, 2023 2pm-8pm at 3849 Bartlett Drive Cookeville, TN 38506. Bonfire lighting at 6pm. Refreshments will be served, please bring a chair, any farewell wishes to be tossed in the fire and your memories to share. Rain out date Saturday June 10, 2023 same time same location.
