My wife and I met Armand at a Friends of Tennessee State park conference, we immediately befriended each other and served on the board of the Friends of Tennessee State Parks Coalition. Armand was a good friend and a good friend of Tennessee state parks, he will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his wife and family.

It took me some time to put my thoughts into words. When you met Armond I was a teenager..17. Back then young, wild, crazy and unpredictable....I made decision that many did not agree with, but to put it simply, Armond was always there for me. I'm sure he may have question my choices but time after time supported me and stood by my side. Through the years we laughed and cried together but most of all we had fun. Especially those vacations and the time I tagged along as the nanny. We spent many a night talking politics, kids, work and life. We got each other's jokes...even though you bore the brunt of most (sorry sis). He was a great mentor and always available to give me advice. Most of all I loved the way he loved you and your three boys, now wonderful men. What a great legacy. He was more then a brother in law, he was and will always be my brother. Miss and love you Armond ❤️️until we meet again.

Dear Chris and Family:
I was saddened to hear of Armand's passing. Although I only worked for and with him for a short time at Lakeland, I learned so much and have such fond memories of that time. He was a great boss and mentor. I will keep all of you in my prayers during this very difficult time. God bless you!
