Chattanooga – Mr. Terry Ernest Brewer, 69, died, Wednesday March 22, 2017 at his home. He was born in Palmer, Tennessee on December 7, 1947 to Ernest Grady and Edna Marie Crabtree Brewer who preceded him in death along with his brothers, Kenneth and Dwain Brewer; nephew, Chris Brewer.
Terry was known around the Mountain as “Chroney” and was a accomplished musician, Vietnam Veteran serving in the US Navy, he had worked for the Hamilton County Highway Department and had been a State Trooper in the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
He is survived by his wife, Vanessa Brewer; daughter, Brittany (Robert) Eldridge; son, Kyler Lee Brewer; grandchildren, Hayden, Aubry and Adelynn Eldridge; sister-in-law, Glenda Brewer; niece, Rhonda Andrews.
Graveside funeral services will be held 2:00 PM EDT Monday at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the American Legion Post 95. Visitation: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM Sunday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
