Ringgold, Georgia – Mrs. Dortha Evelle Graham Brown, 93, passed away Friday April 7, 2017 at the home of her caregivers, Chet and Darlene Layne. She was born in Dunlap, Tennessee on January 6, 1924 to Earl and Tina Mae Shrum Kilgore who preceded her in death along with her step-mother, Almeda Bone; husband, Earl Graham; 2nd husband, William Albert Brown; son, Earl William Graham; sister, Margie Doss; brothers, Harold, Joe, Clarence, Elmer and Joseph Kilgore.
She is survived by her son, Larry Graham; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be 12:00 Noon Sunday April 9, 2017 at the Hixson Cemetery on East Valley Road in Bledsoe County with Bro. Tim Layne officiating. There will be no visitation at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
