Palmer – Mr. Clyde Ernest Bean, 88, passed away Sunday April 9, 2017 at his home. He was born in Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee on March 6, 1929 to William Bean and Mary Mitchell Bean who preceded him in death along with his wife, Hester Elizabeth Bean; he was the youngest of 16 children and was preceded in death by 15 brothers and sisters and a step-son, Bud King.
He was employed in the Automotive and Aerospace business in California and Michigan.
He is survived by his wife, Ailene Bean; daughter, Patricia Ann (Jim) Johnston of Belle Vista, Arkansas; son, Ernest Richard (Debra) Bean of
Decatur, Alabama; step-daughter, Darlene (David) Crabtree, Palmer, Tennessee.; 8 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchild; special granddaughters and caretakers, Tina Cooper and Tanya Birdwell; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers Jamie Pack and Phillip Fults officiating with burial to follow in the Fall Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM Tuesday at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
