Obituary of Willie Mae Layne

Gruetli-Laager – Mrs. Willie Mae Layne, 94, passed away Friday July 14, 2017 at the Horizon Health facility in Manchester, Tennessee. She was born in Palmer, Tennessee on July 24, 1922 to Thomas and Aletha Bell Brown who preceded her in death along with her husband, Andrew Layne; daughters, Charlotte Ann Layne and Andrea Cozort; sisters, Ophelia, Omalee, Shelby and Alma; grandson, Shawn Cozort; great grandson, Travis Cozart.

She was a member of the West Side Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Layne; sons, Hugh T., Rodney and Tim N. Layne; brother, Charles Brown; sisters, Margaret and June; 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
