Altamont – Mr. Billy James Hobbs, 57, passed away, Friday January 5, 2017 in McMinnville, Tennessee. He was born in Smithville, Tennessee on April 12, 1960 to James Hobbs and Freda Cantrell Hobbs who preceded him in death.

 

He was a landscaper and enjoyed playing Billiards.

 

He is survived by his son, Heath Hobbs; brothers, Ronnie and Danny Ray Hobbs; sisters, Teresa and Resa; several nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday in the funeral home chapel with Minister Bud Whitman officiating with burial to follow in the Fults Cemetery. Visitation: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM Monday at Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, Tennessee. www.laynefuneralhome.com
